About the Master

Master Seronia Merritt was born on March 24 in the year 491. For the first few years of his life, he and his family traveled a lot, before they finally settled down in the port city of Sercia, in the Duchy of Ravenholt. Seronia spent a lot of time down by the docks, and learned how to use a sword from the sailors in the area. When Seronia decided to become an adventurer, he met many fighters of great skill, and sought to learn from them. Baron Jayson Askani of Westmarch informed Seronia that he could be much more effective if he learned to use a shield to go along with his long sword. Seronia took the advice to heart, studied hard, and eventually became competent in the use of a shield. Seronia traveled with the Court of the Silvermyst in Avendale for some time, but eventually decided that the research he was doing required him to be closer to the stores of knowledge in Evendarr City, and so he moved to the Duchy of Therendry, where he became a squire to Duke Ellis Pinetree in January of 604. Since then, he continues to travel most everywhere, following the code of chivalry to the best of his ability, and developing his skills as both a fighter and a caster. Though he has his own unique fighting style, he has picked up little pieces of fighting from all the great fighters he has met over the years, including Chester Kapel of Westmarch, Felix of Myanthea, Anthony Darkforge of the Evendarrian army, and Baron Zug De’kiernan of Therendry.
